WAYNE CARINI OF CHASING CLASSIC CARS TV SERIES SET TO APPEAR AS CELEBRITY JUDGE AT RM SOTHEBY’S 40TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Wayne Carini is an expert car restorer, Ferrari enthusiast and an American TV personality. He has done body and paint work on rare car collections owned by David Letterman, tennis great Ivan Lendl and the DuPont family. He has been featured in the New York Times as well as numerous automobile magazines, starred in two one-hour television specials on Discovery’s Velocity channel, and is the host of TV series Chasing Classic Cars, in its 14th season, on Motor Trend. Wayne owns and operates three companies in Portland, Connecticut:  F40 Motorsports specializing in the sale and purchase of vintage and classic automobiles, F40 Restoration, where he and his team restore domestic and European automobiles, and Carini Consulting where Wayne advises and manages collections for clients around the world.

WHAT: Wayne Carini of Chasing Classic Cars TV Series Set to Appear as Celebrity Judge at RM Sotheby’s 40th Anniversary Celebration

Wayne Carini, host of the Chasing Classic Cars television series and longtime friend of RM Sotheby’s, is set to appear at the company’s 40th Anniversary celebration in the Classic Car Capital of Canada as a celebrity judge for the annual RetroFest Car Show. Presented by the Kent Historic Auto Club alongside RM Sotheby’s, this year’s show will be made even more exciting with additional displays and activities, as well as special awards.

RM Sotheby’s, the world’s largest auction house for investment-quality automobiles and world-renowned restoration facility, will a host 40th Anniversary celebration weekend in Chatham-Kent, 21-22 June. Partnering with RetroFest Classic Car Festival and the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, RM is creating the ultimate celebration for car enthusiasts and the community. Special events for the weekend include a Kick Off Parade, Best Cars in the World display and events and tours at RM Head Office at One Classic Car Drive, Blenheim Ontario. Entertainment includes performances by Canadian favorites Sam Roberts Band and Big Sugar. Proceeds from the weekend will support the Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation and the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent.
